It concerns me that someone such as Tim Tebow receives such negative press from so many elements of our country. Here is a young man of faith who is unafraid to acknowledge his belief and commitment to God and people are critical. We see people acting in very ugly ways and no one raises any objection.

Why is this so? No one really has an answer to that question mainly because everyone who is critical has their reason for doing so. However, in spite of all the criticism, Tim Tebow has not altered his way one bit. He is who he is and all the bad press will change none of that.

We who profess to be Christians should find encouragement in that. Consider that for centuries, Christians were harassed and put down by the populace. Many died because of their faith. Today, Christians who will stand up for Jesus, practice their faith openly and live as a God focused individuals, are not as evident. I thank God that one young man is an inspiration to the rest of us.
