A Birth Day - Luke 2:11-12

"Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger."

Thought: It's Christmas Eve. Tomorrow, December 25th, many celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. It is good that we remember Christ was born. For without this great gift from God we would not have the promise of salvation thru his death, burial and resurrection.

I think of Mary, giving birth to her son. Holding him, loving him, watching him grow up. How proud a mother is of her child. Then watching him suffer and die a horrendous, humiliating death on a cross for all to see.

But what about God, what does He see? He sees so much more. As you celebrate the birth of Christ, remember the greatest gift God ever gave, His Son.
