Beyond all question, the mystery of godliness is great:

He appeared in a body,
was vindicated by the Spirit,
was seen by angels,
was preached among the nations,
was believed on in the world,
was taken up in glory.

Thought: God sent Jesus here to be born of a woman. At his baptism the Holy Spirit came down. He preached to and taught thousands upon thousands. Many in the world believed in him. And finally he accended into heaven and was taken back into glory with the Father. The six elements written above are fully revealed in the gospels.

Personally I am in awe of God and so thankful for the sacrafice made not only for me but for all of us. I am humbled, joyous and sorrowful.
Joyful that God and Jesus would give up so much that we might live and yet full of sorrow that they needed to. It is indeed a mystery, but the greatest one ever.
