Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the goal of your faith, the salvation of your souls. Thought: Can we believe in what we can't see? Absolutely! Do you believe there is air to breathe, gravity to hold us here? Yes there is that and so much more we don't see. Though we don't see Christ we can know him. Know that he loves and cares for us deeply. We have his teachings in the bible. We have the Holy Spirit dwelling in us to guide us. I call it faith! I don't see it, I can't hold it, yet it lives in me. I know it's there living in me and giving me the chance to live for and do what God has intended for me. The reward is beyond believe also. Inexpressible and glorious joy, the salvation of my soul. It fills me with awe and wonder. I can't really explain the feeling that overcomes me when I think about it. If that joy makes me feel this way now I can't imagine how wonderful heaven must be. |
