Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
Draw nigh (near) to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double-mnded.

Thought: It is not God who moves away from us, it's us who move away from God by letting the satan have his way. The closer to God we stay the easier it gets to recognize and resist the devil and his followers.

Cleanse your hands? Stay away from evil doing and those who would pull you back into doing what you know is wrong. The same with your heart/mind. Shove evil thoughts out and replace them with good and pure ones. Together we can do it. It only takes the faith of a mustard seed to get started.
