Dead to Sin Romans 6:11-14 NIV
Cheryl Owens
In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus. Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its evil desires. Do not offer the parts of your body to sin, as instruments of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God, as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer the parts of your body to Him as instruments of righteousness. For sin shall not be your master, beause you are not under law, but under grace.

Thought: The song "Wonderful Grace of Jesus" comes to mind with these verses.

Wonderful grace of Jesus, Greater than all my sin.
How shall my tongue describe it? Where shall His praise begin?
Taking away by burden, Setting my spirit free
For the wonderful grace of Jesus reaches me.

Wonderful grace of Jesus, Reaching to all the lost
By it I have been pardoned, Saved to the utter most
Chains have been torn asunder, Giving me liberty.
For the wonderful grace of Jesus reaches me.

Wonderful grace of Jesus, Reaching the most defiled,
By its transforming power Making him God's dear child,
Purchasing peace and heaven, For all eternity
And the wonderful grace of Jesus reaches me.
