Verse: Rev. 14:13 Then I heard a voice from heaven say, "Write: Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea saith, the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them. (KJV) The writer is not refering to all dead, but those dead who die in the Lord. If you are not in the Lord when you die, you are not going to be after your dead. The Christian life, begun by faith and baptism into Christ (Rom. 6:3) is a life in Christ. To be assured of this blessed death one must live a Christian life. Thought: A dear friend of mine recently lost someone she cared about very much. She had told her friend of God many times and urged her to get baptised. She died this last week outside of the Lord. Don't let that happen to someone you care about. Edited by Cheryl Owens on 12/06/2012 12:29 |
