| A truly exceptional retelling of the story of the king whose son was about to be married and he sent out invitations to special people, all of which declined him, and what happened next. Maybe you've heard this one before, but Norm's way is special in the way that he tells all of the details BEHIND the story. Imagine: You've received a PERSONAL invitation from the kind of a country to attend one of his most-honored functions, the marriage of his son. And you tell him you're just too busy to attend. In the old days these kinds of invitations didn't just sneak up on you. THREE invitations were sent out. Worse yet, in some cases the people bringing the invitations were MURDERED! The king was livid! He found those who did it, killed them, and burned their citities!! Well, next up the king is determined to have a big celebration, so he invites EVERYONE his servants can find (both good and bad) to Come to the feast that his house mgiht be filled. The parallels here are Jesus and us. He invited everyone specially. Many said they are "too busy" even to this day. Now, the reward He offers (invitation to Heaven, His party of sorts) is open to everyone who will accept.
